Experiments by @INMAdivulga , @icmabCSIC (from @QTEP_CSIC ) and @GMMF_UB on "real" magnetic dipolar lattices reveal that important size effects persist for crystals as large as a few microns (10^11 spins!). Now accesible as a letter in @PhysRevB : https://journals.aps.org/prb/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevB.106.L180407
